Garden Gate Greens

Garden Gate Greens is a small, locally based microgreens grower, born from a long-time love of the farmers’ market, and run by Leah Harrington.

 

What began as a hobby growing microgreens in a hallway has grown into a purpose-built propagation shed at home, where microgreens are cultivated year-round under lights.

 

Microgreens are young, tender vegetables packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants—making them a great natural boost for your immune system. Leah grows her microgreens in a blend of organic potting mix and coco fibre. After harvesting, all leftover material is composted and reused in her garden, keeping the process sustainable and environmentally friendly.

 

Microgreens are incredibly versatile and can be used in a wide range of dishes. Add them to salads, use them as a garnish, sprinkle them over your meals, or simply enjoy them fresh straight from the punnet. Leah offers mixed punnets featuring a delicious combination of sunflower, broccoli, radish, mustard, and purple kohlrabi microgreens. Customers can also bring their own container to the market and she will cut your microgreens fresh on the spot, or return plastic punnet for reuse.
