CHOCOLATE STAR COOKIES WITH GOLD DUST

Cookie Matariki

Method

 Preparation:

  • Cream butter and sugar together.
  • Add condensed milk and vanilla essence, mixing well.
  • Add flour, baking powder, and cocoa, and mix until dough comes together.
  • Rest the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.

 

Baking:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Flour the bench and roll out the dough.
  • Cut out star shapes and bake for 10-15 minutes until firm.
  • Cool the cookies and sprinkle with gold dust.
