Ingredients

  • 500g firm fish of your choice, cut in serving sizes
  • 1- 2 bunches of Chinese cabbage
  • 2-3 radishes, sliced thinly
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • Thumb size ginger, sliced in flat rounds
  • 3-4 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 1 tsp whole peppercorns
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1-2 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • Minced chilli to taste
  • Rice cooked to serve

Fish Soup with Chinese Cabbage

Method

  • Put all the ingredients, except the cabbage and radish, in a pot and bring to a boil
  • Turn the heat down and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked
  • Add the cabbage, and season with salt and pepper to taste
  • Top with sliced spring onion and minced chilli Serve hot with white rice
  •
