FRUIT PRESERVING IN MICROWAVE

Method

  • Wash jars & put in oven to heat.
  • Destone the apricots, quarter and pack into the preserving jars.
  • In a pot, bring to boil water and sugar. Stir well to disolve the sugar, continue to boil for another minute.
  • Pour hot syrup over the fruit in the jar, leaving 1 cm space at the top.
  • Cook in microwave on high for approx. 3 minutes each - total 6 minutes for both.
  • When small bubbles appear on fruit, sufficient cooking has taken place.
  • Top to overflowing with hot syrup. Seal.
