Ingredients
- 12-14 apricots / nectarines / peaches
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 preserving jars
FRUIT PRESERVING IN MICROWAVE
Method
- Wash jars & put in oven to heat.
- Destone the apricots, quarter and pack into the preserving jars.
- In a pot, bring to boil water and sugar. Stir well to disolve the sugar, continue to boil for another minute.
- Pour hot syrup over the fruit in the jar, leaving 1 cm space at the top.
- Cook in microwave on high for approx. 3 minutes each - total 6 minutes for both.
- When small bubbles appear on fruit, sufficient cooking has taken place.
- Top to overflowing with hot syrup. Seal.
