  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 ½ tbsp balsamic
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional)

Honey and Balsamic Glazed Turnips

honey and balsamic glazed turnips

Method

  • Peel and cut the turnips into quarters
  • Heat a pan on high heat, add some oil and then pan fry the turnips until starting to colour
  • Add the mustard, honey and balsamic
  • Turn the heat down and cook until the sauce has reduced and the turnips are tender
  • If using the butter, shake into the pan to emulsify and coat the turnips at the end of the cooking
  • Check the seasoning and add salt and pepper to taste
