Ingredients
- 3 red onion
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil
- 2 Tbsp balsamic
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp wholegrain mustard
Roasted red onions with balsamic and mustard glaze
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Cut the onion into segments and place in a roasting dish
- Lightly oil and season the onions with salt and pepper Roast in the oven for approx
- 20 minutes until the onions are starting to soften Mix together the mustard, balsamic and honey and drizzle over the onions Return the onions to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until the glaze is sticky Enjoy the onions as a side dish to a main meal
- They are delicious with roast meats
