Ingredients
- Serves 4 as a side dish
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- ½ a savoy cabbage, shredded
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 125g havoc bacon, cut in strips
- 2 cups of vegetable stock
Braised cabbage with havoc bacon
Method
- Sweat the oil, onions, garlic and bacon together in a pot
- Add the cabbage and vegetable stock and simmer with the lid on for about 10-15 minutes
- Try to keep the cabbage as green as possible
- Serve as a side dish
