  • 3 cloves of garlic – peeled and crushed
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup hazelnuts (Dunford Grove)
  • 1 bag broccolini (Wairuna Organics)
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper

Fried Broccolini with Hazelnuts

fried broccolini with hazelnuts

Method

  • Heat the oil in a fry pan, on a medium heat
  • Add the garlic, hazelnuts and a pinch of salt and gently heat, stirring constantly
  • Once the garlic is beginning to brown and smell nutty, add in the broccolini, chilli flakes, salt and pepper
  • Stir fry for approx
  • 7 minutes or until vibrant green and charring on the edges
  • Squeeze over lemon juice and serve
