- 350g bread
- Butter
- 250g figs
- 2 tbsp sherry
- 300ml milk
- 300ml cream
- 3 eggs
- 4 tbsp thyme honey
- 2 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp cinnamon

Honey and Fig bread and butter pudding
Method

- Pre heat the oven to 160 degrees2
- Slice the bread in to slices about 2cm thick and butter3
- In a bowl whisk together the eggs, milk, cream, honey, vanilla, sherry and cinnamon4
- Slice the figs5
- Arrange the bread in a deep baking dish scattered with the figs6
- Pour over the egg mix, allow the bread to soak it up and add more until the egg mix is all in the baking dish7
- Bake in the oven until the custard is set, approx
- 40 minutes8
- Serve warm with ice cream
