Vendors
It is our vendors and their wonderful products that make the Otago Farmers Market such a success story. Many of our regular customers consider their favourite vendors to be friends. Getting to know the people behind the products and the stories behind what they sell, is what makes Farmers Markets special.
GUD Coffee
Ash Cumberbeach had spent about 15 years in the hospitality industry before striking out on her own with her customised coffee cart a while back. Her parents were big fans of Fat Cat Coffee from way back in the day so it was a natural choice of locally roasted beans for her to opt for. Nothing tastes as good as those Fat Cat beans.

Janefield Paeonies and Hydroponics
Rodger and Cindy Whitson own a 10 acre property just outside of Mosgiel. They had owned the property for 21 years when they first started growing gentians and paeonies. In 2004 they diversified into growing hydroponic herbs and salad vegetables and have grown this into a very slick operation. Neither Rodger nor Cindy had horticultural experience or qualifications but their operation is a testament to learning from trial and error. They started trading at the market at about this time.
